KEEPING UP
A successful young attorney sat waiting for a red light to change when a young boy rode alongside of him on a moped. The boy motioned the man to lower his window. As the electric motor lowered the passenger-side window, the boy leaned up against the car and said, “Mister, that sure is a fine automobile, what kind is it?” “This is a Porche,” the attorney replied, some what annoyed. “Does it cost a lot?” the boy asked. “More than you can imagine,” the attorney stated. “Does it go fast?” asked the boy. The young lawyer did not reply; but as the light turned to green, he accelerated quickly, leaving the youngster behind. As he accelerated through the gears, he observed the boy on the moped coming up quickly behind. “Zing” as the boy passed the porche on the right shoulder of the road. “Wow, what has that kid got in that thing?” the attorney continued to accelerate and once again saw…
