Corinthians 5:21 – God made Jesus who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. A few years ago the Chernobyl nuclear plant had a melt-down and created an enormous tragedy. My wife and I were in Sweden at the time it happened. The nearness and fearsomeness of the tragedy was not lost on us as we daily were appraised by the media of how threatening the disaster was to us in far away Sweden, much less to those in Russia and the neighboring countries. To make the best of a catastrophic situation the Russian authorities decided that the best thing they could do was to dump hundreds of tons of sand and concrete into the live reactor so as to seal it up and prevent its continued radioactive discharges.
