For Denver Bronco kicker Mike Horan, the importance of his Christian faith cannot be overstated. “I feel that being a Christian really takes away a lot of the pressure that a game can bring about, that I can be really focusing and concentrating on what I’m supposed to do on the field,” Horan said. “I feel like the Lord’s given me the ability to punt, has given me this job, and the outcome is the Lord’s job.” Horan’s religious faith goes way beyond providing him self-confidence on the field.
