A college football coach was being interviewed about the year’s star quarterback. “He’s great on the gridiron,” said the interviewer, “but how’s his scholastic work?” “He makes straight A’s,” replied the coach. “Wonderful,” enthused the interviewer. “Yes,” said the coach, “but his B’s are sort of crooked.” From Catholic Digest, October, 1987
