TOO PROTECTIVE
Several months ago our Preschool Department ordered non-breakable mirrors for some of the classrooms. Since we paid a high price for these mirrors, we were expecting something really nice when they arrived. Much to our dismay, the mirrors looked like aluminum foil stretched over a frame. Everyone who came into our offices tried to grab a tissue and polish as though that might clear the image. Nothing seemed to clean up the mirrors so we sent them back, asking for better replacements. Believe it or not, the company sent the very same mirrors back and underlined the instructions: “Remove the Protective Plastic Coating!” From “A Funny Thing Happened…,” Church Administration, July, 1990, by Beverly Arnold, First Baptist Church, Greenwood, Mississippi
