PESTER OR PASTOR
God offers us salvation and the forgiveness of our sins. But God’s not going to force it on us. It is a gift God wants to give to us but God isn’t going to pester us to get us to take it. God doesn’t harass people into the kingdom. After the doorbell rang, and the husband had answered it, his wife asked, “Who was that at the door, Dear?” The husband answered, “It was that new minister. He has been by four times this week.” The wife asked, “What is his name?” Her husband answered, “I think it’s Pester Smith.” God doesn’t pester people into the kingdom. God offers hope to people who need rescuing.
