PRAYER OF THANKS
Dear Gracious Father: In the quiet of this moment we resist the temptation to scurry out of the blinding light of your love and righteousness back to the dark corners of our secret sins and betrayals. Instead we choose to bask in the warmth of your love and forgiveness. Give us, tonight, the close fellowship with you of the Last Supper, the courage of the garden, the forgiveness of the Cross and the Joy of the Empty Tomb. Give to us, your children, all that your, our Father, has for us. And, Precious Father, receive all that we have to give to you: our sins and failures, our love and praise, our thanks, our hearts, our very lives. We receive these elements with thankful hearts in the wonderful name of Jesus. Amen.
