In the heart of man lies a yearning to know God. His eyes touch beauty, and his heart is moved… towards understanding… towards the Creator. Our need for God was placed within our hearts at creation. That need is the need to love, for God is love. We cannot always define our love. It is a wisp of compassion fluttering down in an unexpected place. It is the urge to reach out… even when we are afraid of rejection. Our love for God is a wordless desire for all that is good… that is beautiful. It is our need for identification and for belonging.
