Why not go to church? Why not? You should not go to church because it is convenient. You should not go to church because the people are friendly. You should not go to church because the singing is good, the organist plays well, or because the preaching is interesting. You should not go to church because there are children the age of your own, or because you will make the deepest friendships you have ever known. You should not go to church because our nation is in trouble or because the soul of our country is spiritually bankrupt. You should not go to church because your marriage is in difficulty or because your children are growing up without purpose.
