Every year, many of us decide that the time has come to make some changes in the way we live. You probably know at least one person who will make a New Year’s Resolution to quit a destructive habit. One such person said recently: “When I was a boy, I had to sneak around and hide my smoking from my father. Now I have to sneak around and hide my smoking from my kids.”
For anyone who smokes or is struggling with a destructive habit, a New Year’s Resolution to change is probably a good idea. But, for everyone — for you and me and every member of this Christian Community — a New Year’s Resolution to rejoice in the Good News Message of God’s Love is a good idea!
