TEENAGE SEXUALITY
Conducted Nation-wide was one of the largest studies ever done of young people with a plus or minus factor of error of less than 3 percent and this is what it showed. By 18 years of age – high school graduation – 43 percent of our kids in evangelical, fundamental churches have had sexual intercourse. From 12 to 18 years of age 65 percent have been involved in sexual contact which is caressing of the breast or the genitals – 65 percent! One of the overwhelming statistics was 36 percent (more than one third) could not state that premarital sexual intercourse was morally unacceptable – 36 percent! These are our evangelical, fundamental churches. In just the previous six months, 68 percent had seen an R rated film. But catch this one: In just the previous six months – not three years – just in the previous six months 10 percent of the evangelical, fundamental teenagers have seen a pornographic film. You…
