RESURRECTION
A burning flame,
A sacrifice, searing hands and feet,
Blinding pain, sweat and tears
Mingled in,
Why? He chose to be here…
For us He died.
Now in coldness He lies,
Wrapped in spices, weeping agony.
Why? How could this be…?
Radiant light, white, glistening.
Heaven and earth collide.
Roaring wave upon wave of exultation —
And Hope is born, Joy is King,
And forever more He will reign. By Laurie Patton
