THE LAWMAKER’S PUNISHMENT
Young Sang was the prime minister of the First Emperor in China. He made many cruel punishments to discipline those who did not follow the law. His legislative way of ruling made the Chin Dynasty prosperous. Soon, it became the first united empire of China. After the first emperor died, the successor, who had suffered from those cruel punishments, wanted revenge. Young had to flee for his life. When he used a false name to check into a hotel, the hotel owner insisted for him to show his identification as his law required. He asked for mercy, but the owner was afraid of the cruel punishment for such deception. Young was eventually turned in as a criminal and sentenced to death — victim of his own regulations.
