LEARN TO WITNESS
Learning to ride a bicycle. Sunday afternoon, took an old red bike from garage. Pushed it on to the top of a little two foot high hill in our side yard, just under the kitchen window. Got on it, coasted down with feet spread out to catch me when I fell. Not a question of if, but when. Up and down the hill that afternoon. Dad came out and said the way I lean is the direction the bike will go. As simple as that was, I didn’t know that, now I learned to steer. Soon I could even pedal, I was riding a bike! A week later, Dad saw me put my feet down to stop the bike. I didn’t know the bike had brakes! Pedal backwards, brakes! Learned something else!
