EAR PROBLEMS
Dr. Elliot’s research indicates that a crease in one or both earlobes may be an early warning sign of ear disease. It seems that the same kind of blood vessels supply both the ticker and the ear. When conditions are right for a coronary, these “end-arteries” tend to crinkle up, creating the condemning crease. Disclaimer: the study is not conclusive, and I am not a doctor. Please do not panic if you have folded lobes. The whole thing does, however, bring up a couple of interesting points. Our spiritual ears are also good indicators of the health of our spiritual hearts. When we close the Bible, tune out the preacher, and drop out of Bible Study, it is a sure sign that our hearts have become clogged with the cholesterol of sin.
