IGNORE THE ROBERTS BOYS
In our church, we have a very large and active family by the name of Roberts. The family spans several generations. They are involved in almost every aspect of the Church, including the women’s groups. As a consequence, most people in the Church know who the Roberts are. One of the women’s groups in our Church is filled with older women who are all just as sweet as they could be. They are all very experienced adults and time has been at work. Many of them are a little hard of hearing. One day during one of their regular business meetings, an argument broke out over some issue. The chairperson was attempting to bring some order to this discussion and kept making reference to “Roberts’ Rules of Order”.
