A TRUCKER’S INTERCESSION
On the TV program “911” this story was told: This story took place in Nova Scotia where two long time friends who drove trucks met up and decided to travel together. The one trucker was hauling iron while the other trucker had frozen goods. The fellow with the frozen goods led the way as they were used to doing. This day they were enjoying very much the chance to talk back and forth on the CB radio as they travelled. The scene has them traveling this windy mountain road and after a bit the trucker with the iron wanted to pass the other truck – so he did that. As they truck along, the man in front suggested they test their brakes at the designated testing place since a hill was just ahead.
