HOW TO KILL YOUR CHURCH
Meditate upon the following and determine, honestly, which impresses you most: 1. A lost soul you could witness to – or a lost personal item? 2. A mar on your Christian character – or a dent on your automobile? 3. Missing the worship service – or missing a day’s work? 4. A sermon five minutes too long – or lunch a few minutes late? 5. The church not growing – or the garden not growing? 6. Your Bible unread – or your newspaper unread? 7. Contributions to the church decreasing – or your personal income decreasing? 8. Being late for church – or being late to work? 9. The church work neglected – or your job being neglected? 10. Missing a good Bible lesson – or missing a TV program? 11. Low attendance at my church – or low attendance at other meetings?
