SHORT- SIGHTED MEMORY
Alan Kraft of Greeley Colorado sent in a “Bob Hope classic” which is one of our “Humorous Contest” winners. We have published a similar story a number of years ago with a few different details… An aging golfer still loved to golf, but was unable to see the ball after he hit it. A golf pro suggested that the aging golfer team up with just the right partner. “He’s got the eyes of a hawk.” The aging golfer took the advice of the pro and sought the man out. The two men went out together and on the very first tee the aging golfer hit a long drive. He asked his new partner, “Were you able to see where it went?” His partner responded, “Sure did, but I can’t remember where I saw it go…”
