“SEE YOU LATER” By Barbara Stinnett In memory of her grandmother, Grace C. Troy Alone beside your bed I sit/ To hold your hand and pray/ That God will grant me benefit/ To hold it one more day./ But then I think of where you’re going/ And who you’re going to see/ I dare not ask for you to stay/ Another day with me./ It’s almost time for you to go/ He’s calling you to rest/ But as for me, He’s testing faith/ Will I stand the test?/ Of course I will, I learned from you/ To hold my head up high/ And know that when you have to leave/ He’ll help me say goodbye./ And though I know that where you’re bound/ Is better than all this/ It’s your loving ways and smiling face/ That I am going to miss./ Remember this that I love you/ And won’t beg you to stay/ But please believe I’ll do my best/ To be with you some…
