THANKFUL FRUIT
The Heidelberg Catechism of 1563 asks, “But does this doctrine (justification by faith) make men careless and profane?” and offers this answer: “No; for it is impossible that those who are implanted into Christ by true faith, should not bring forth fruits of thankfulness.” From The Gospel According to Jesus, John F.
