SHARE THE LOAD
Thousands of years ago, one Chinese city mayor ruled a city. He sat in his office, looking as if he did nothing save for playing his musical instrument and singing songs. However, the city was ruled very well. After a period of time, he retired. Another mayor acquired his position. This person worked day and night to make the city run as well as before. He was confused about the ineffectiveness of his hard work. Finally he went to see the retired mayor. The new mayor asked him how he enjoyed life while ruling the city well. The retired mayor said, “You are doing everything all by yourself, but I was using capable people to do the job for me.”
