FAMILIAR NEEDS
The two most often used words in the presidential campaign by all three leading candidates was “CHANGE” and “TRUST.” These words are used – not just for political advantage – but because these two words speak to the heart of those who are hurting. Those who are in need know they need help. They need change and are ready to trust. Many of these individuals will be misled and abused; their trust will be violated. Those who carry the truth have an ideal opportunity to learn a fundamental lesson from these politicians. People want CHANGE and need to find that which they can TRUST. The Gospel is made for such an occasion.
