JUDY’S ORGAN
There once was an organist named Judy,
Who, in order to fulfill her church duty
Sat at the organ to play,
Nothing worked right – not even the tutti.
She called a repairman posthaste.
He said, “Repair would be a fiscal waste.
A new organ is needed–
My words should be heeded.”
(This news to the pastor was raced.)
The pastor once more repeated,
“The church budget is almost depleted.
If an organ’s required
Funds must be acquired–
And help from outside will be needed!”
And so comes to you this fun letter,
And to you we could be a great debtor.
Your generous gift
Would give us a lift
And make our church music much better! By Judy Ruths
