COMMUNICATION — HOW IS THE MESSAGE COMING ACROSS?
Sam Newell tells about using a story from Parables, Etc. in a recent missions conference in the State of Washington. He retold the Aesop’s fable about the thirsty crow who put stones in the jar to raise the level of the water. One by one the stones were dropped in the water until it reached a level from which he could drink: I related this to our work in missions as each having a part in missions and although one’s efforts alone might not make that much difference, neither would one stone be significant by itself, yet all the stones together caused the water to rise.
