DON’T YOU WISH YOU COULD GET AWAY WITH THIS?
When I read the following item in the Jul 11 issue of Time magazine about IBM Chairman John Opel, I must confess the grass looked awfully good on the other side of the fence. Pastor, I know you probably can’t use this in your own ministerial strategy– but just admire it! This is a new dimension of marital cooperation. “Opel spends much of his non-IBM time with his wife. Three mornings a week they are up at 5:30 and drive 20 miles to do aerobic and exercise- machine workouts ‘at a place where they don’t know me.’ The Opels fish together, go to the opera together and watch birds together.
