CHILDREN’S SERMON: THE BEST KINDS OF PRAYER
How many of you say your prayers each night before going to bed? That is a great way to close the day, isn’t it? What are some of the things you pray about when you say your prayers? (Give them [the children] opportunity to respond.) That’s great. There are many things that we pray for. Did you know that God loves for us to pray? He loves to hear our voice. Just like when you get a phone call from your best friend, and you run to the phone. God is excited when any of his children kneel down beside their bed to pray. Now there are all kinds of things we can pray about. One of the best is to pray for other people. God bless Mommy, God bless Daddy, God bless my Sunday School teacher.
