PROPHETIC EVENTS OF 1981 RECAPITULATED
Just today I received my annual year end letter from my friend Ken Johnson. Someday I am going to collect all of his letters in a book and sell them and get rich. He included these observations in his Round Robin letter: “An organization called Lighthouse Gospel Tract Foundation mailed out announcements that the final rapture of the church would occur on June 28, 1981. But the day came and went, and nothing happened. So the society extended the period by one more day, and it came and went too. So they re-checked everything and declared that the rapture would indeed occur forty days AFTER June 28, on August 6 or 7. Now those dates have passed too, and some of us have begun to look to other forecasters.”
