Among our subscribers are included a number of Rabbis. Though they write to tell me they can’t use all that we publish, they do read Parables, Etc. and appreciate being included in our subscription list. Rabbi Samuel Press of Dayton, Ohio, wrote and shared these thoughts: “I have recommended your journal and will mention it in an article I am submitting to my colleagues within the next month.” He also shared with us two short stories on inter-faith communication and on prejudice. The first is from a Jewish journalist, Gedaliah Bublick. It explains how we can be friendly with other groups although we may differ in our religious bent. “When one travels on the train with other people, we may engage in friendly discussion. However, because they are enroute to Buffalo, and we are enroute to Chicago, our friendship need not be such that we get off in Buffalo too!” His other story was about the football coach who was disturbed…
