CHAOTIC COMMUNICATION I
‘m sure that if you closely scrutinized the methods we use to communicate the gospel you would find that often the methods are a zig-zag, chaotic, illogical bunch of hodge-podge, helter-skelter plans designed by the firm of Lurch, Halt and Stumble. It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to bring the jumble to any level of effectiveness. In speaking of this recently I used a story I found in Funny, Funny World. It seems a man spent an evening with his friend P. G. Wodehouse, the well-known author. As he was about to leave Wodehouse’s flat he noticed a stamped, addressed envelope on the table.
