SECOND GUESSING THE LORD
An acquaintance was talling his mother about a friend who had died and left three small children. His mother said, “Why couldn’t it have been me? I am ninety-three years old, and she was so young. I’ve worked hard all my life to serve the Lord, and I’m ready to go.” He responded, “Mother, the Lord has left you here on earth for a purpose.
