FAITH, THE INNER EYE
While sightseeing the western states on a bus tour a cynical old man criticized the beauty of every natural monument — the Grand Canyon, the Painted Desert, the Petrified Forest, etc. Finally, the bus driver could take it no more and turned to him and said, “Listen, mister, if you haven’t got it on the inside, you can’t see it on the outside!” Faith is the inner eye which enables us to see the deeper beauty and hope in life. As told by Tony Bland in Christian Communication Laboratory
