PLANT A SMALL SEED OF KINDNESS AND WATCH IT GROW
It was a stormy night at a small hotel in Philadelphia. An elderly man and woman approached the registration desk and asked for a room, explaining that all of the big hotels seemed to be full. The clerk explained that there were several conventions in town and indeed there were no rooms to be had anywhere that night. He also pointed out that all of their rooms were full as well — but added, “I wouldn’t feel right about turning you out on such a night; would you be willing to sleep in my room?” The couple were a bit taken aback at his offer but the young man insisted that it would work out fine.
