KILLER
This is one I heard many years ago. I have no idea who first told it or where it comes from. I have used it to talk of the hidden power people sometimes exercise, or deception, or peer pressure, or not bending to the wills of others. A young boy and his family moved from a small southern U. S. town to a large metropolitan area in the north. The young boy was very unhappy with the move for he had to leave behind all his friends and he knew he was going to hate big-city life. The one bright spot for the boy was that he had been allowed to bring his pet. After moving into their new home, the young boy and his pet went for a walk to see the neighborhood they had moved into.
