A man recalls in glowing terms the first word spoken by his niece at the tender age of fifteen months …

He says, “She did not want to go with the traditional ‘mama’ or ‘dadda.’ Rather my kid brother’s happy little daughter said “Wow!”

“I love that ‘wow’ and I hope that her first word will stay with her for the rest of her life, and that it will occupy a prominent place in her heart and soul all of her life.”

Happily, we often find ourselves bumping into “wow” people every day. And when we do, we may find ourselves borrowing that little girl’s ‘wow!’

In his Gospel, Matthew tells us that wise men from the East visited the newborn Jesus and fell down and worshiped Him.
