People are strange, aren’t they? Different. Unique. Aggravating. They don’t understand us. They ignore us, use us, climb on us, and heap guilt on us. People, in general, are unpredictable commodities.
The story is told of a woman who decided to take a break after a long afternoon in one of those big shopping malls. She positioned herself on a bench, opened her newspaper and reached down to take a bite out of the candy bar she had just purchased. A well-attired man was sitting next to her, and much to her chagrin he suddenly reached down, took a piece of the candy bar and popped it into his mouth!
The woman was a bit shocked, but she figured, “I’ll ignore it.” So she took another piece of the candy — and he took another piece. Then he beat her to the punch and…
