”Have nothing to do with stupid and senseless controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kindly to everyone, an apt teacher, patient, correcting opponents with gentleness.” (II Timothy 2:23-25).
A little boy went to his father and asked “Daddy, what causes wars?”
The father lifted his head from behind the newspaper and began to explain, “Suppose the United States and Canada should quarrel,” he said.
The boy’s mother interrupted. “But we should never quarrel with Canada,” she said.
”I know that! “ said the father. “I was just giving an example.”
”It was a confusing example,” mother replied testily.
”It was not!” said father angrily.
”Yes, It was!” mother insisted firmly.
The little boy turned away shaking his head and saying, “Never mind, now I know what causes wars.”
