PREACHING JUST SEEMS LONG
A sign hung over a saloon piano in the old west: “Don’t shoot the pianist. He’s doing the best that he can.” Maybe that ought to hang over a few pulpits. A young pastor made the mistake of apologizing for preaching so long. “Oh, it really wasn’t that long, ” said a lady trying to encourage him, “it only seemed that way.”
