UNFINISHED CHRISTIANS
Robert S. Smith doesn’t finish what he starts. And he figures that is good for business. Smith is owner of company that sells unfinished church furniture: altars, communion tables, that sort of thing. Why unfinished? Because the items cost about fifty percent that way, and that works out well for most churches which don’t have the money but do have the skilled people willing to seal, stain, varnish, and paint. And there is more involvement here than money. It seems somehow that people enjoy having a hand in preparing Gods house for worship. Now, I have never met Mr. Smith, but he reminds me a lot of God: They are both in the business of filling churches with unfinished products. Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we are God’s “Workmanship, or “handiwork,” according to the Amplified New Testament.
