PREACHER’S WASTED PRAYERS
The preacher’s little girl noticed that her father would always bow his head for a moment just before his sermon. She finally asked her father, “Why do you always bow your head just before you preach?” Her father lifted his daughter onto his lap and told her, “The reason I do that, honey, is so I can ask God to help me preach a good sermon.” His daughter hesitated as she considered her father’s answer. She then asked, “Then why doesn’t God ever help you?”
