A young man who was considering marriage spoke to his father about marriage: “Dad, why did you marry Mom?” His father contemplated the question for a moment and said, “I guess I felt like I was incomplete.” The son continued, “Do you feel like you are complete now?” The father paused for a longer time and finally said, “Usually, I feel I am complete; sometimes I feel like I’m finished!”
