WHY WAIT TO ENJOY LIFE?
A wealthy businessman was hurrying to an appointment near a sea port when he brushed by a fisherman who was sitting on the dock about half asleep. This surprised the businessman; it was only 9:55 a.m., and this fisherman was not fishing.So the businessman asked the fisherman, “Why are you not fishing? “The fisherman answered, “I already caught all I need.” The businessman was not satisfied with this answer. “Well, why don’t you go back out and catch some more? You can sell some and have more money.” “But what would I do with more money?” the fisherman inquired. At this point the businessman forgot all about his appointment at the prospect of setting this “lazy” fisherman straight. “You could improve your boat, buy bigger and better nets, and catch even more fish–and then make even more money. In a few years you’ll be able to retire if you want to.” “And what would I do when I retired?”…
