PERFECT SLIP
A little boy walked into the women’s clothing section of a large department store and shyly spoke to the sales clerk. “I want to buy my mother a slip,” he told her, “but I’m not sure what size she wears.” “Is she tall or short, fat or skinny?” asked the clerk. “She’s just perfect,” beamed the small boy. So the sales clerk sold the boy a size 34 slip and gift wrapped it for him. Two days later, the boy’s mom walked into the store and exchanged the slip for a size 52.
