WOMEN TEETH SPEAK LONGER
The preacher spoke only for a few minutes and then sat down. After worship, the church leader asked about the short sermon. “My teeth hurt, and so I quit,” said the pastor. The next Sunday, the preacher spoke for only slightly longer than the previous Sunday but not nearly as long as usual. In response to the church leader’s concern, the preacher replied that he had been to the dentist and had gotten a plate, but it was tight, and so he didn’t speak too long. The third Sunday the preacher spoke for much, much longer than usual, and now the church leader’s concern was for the overly long sermon. “Well,” replied the pastor, “I was in a hurry this morning and picked up my wife’s teeth.”
