GOD’S DREAMERS
Caleb dreamed of Canaan /While slaving in a foreign land.
While building tombs for Egyptians
He thought of wonders God had planned.
He dreamed of conquering cities
While others made castles in the sand.
Because Caleb heard the voice of God say,
“Your dream is my command”/. Daniel lived in Babylon
But dreamed beyond the walls
As he advised world leaders
He also obeyed God’s call
He dreamed of a day in the future
When a Stone would cause nations to fall
And though he didn’t get to see it
This dreamer left a record for us all.
Young Saul dreamed of teaching
Of running a synagogue school.
He dreamed of teaching the Torah
Of applying rabbinic rule
But God changed his dream in a moment/.When Paul became God’s tool
He took Paul out of the classroom
