BECOMING A DRAGONFLY
Once there was a colony of waterbugs like other waterbug colonies. The waterbugs worked together to make the colony better. But once in a while a waterbug would leave and go up a stem and never come back. There are three friends who vowed to each other that if one of them was to make the journey up the stem, they would come back and tell the other two what was up there and what happened. Well, one day one of these three waterbugs started to climb the stem as the other two waterbugs watched him go. The waterbug climbed and climbed until he reached the top. When he got there he fell onto a leaf. When he woke up sometime later, he felt strange. He looked around at what a beautiful world he was seeing for the first time.
