CLASSROOM CONSIDERATIONS
In “Seeker Sensitivity on Sunday Mornings,” Gary Hardin, pastor of Crossroads Community Baptist Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan, suggests the following practices for the Sunday School leaders who want to meet the needs of all who attend their classes: 1) Provide Bibles; 2) Help seekers make friends with members; 3) Plan social events; 4) Practice guest relations; 5) Create a non- threatening, festive classroom atmosphere; 6) Provide good classrooms; 7) Be sensitive about calling on guests; 8) Evaluate the quality of your signs; 9) Train teachers to explain theological terms; 10) Train teachers to apply lessons to life; From The Sunday School Leader, October, 1999
