SHE LOST HER FATHER
A woman dressed in black had stopped to see a friend and her family. When the woman left, the little girl asked her mother why the woman was dressed entirely in black. The mother explained to her daughter the custom of wearing black to mourn the loss of a loved one. The woman had just lost her father and was mourning this loss. The girl thought about what her mother had told her and then asked, “Does she have to keep wearing black until she finds her father again?”
