GIVING PRECEDES GETTING
A young boy accompanied his father to a church at which his father had been invited to speak. The morning offering was given to the visiting preacher. On the way home the young lad asked his father: “How much did you get?” His father replied “Only ten dollars.” “Dad, how much did you put in?” “A dollar, Son.” “Dad, if you had put more in, you would have gotten more out.” This is certainly true of Sunday Worship– if we put more in, we get more out. How can we put more into worship?
