BLACK EYE PROGNOSIS
A doctor was examining an eyebrow laceration on a very active three-year-old. Two nurses and an orderly were required to restrain the screaming child. Noting the incipient swelling and discoloration, the doctor said to the mother, “Billy will be lucky if he comes through this without getting a black eye.” “Do what you have to, Doctor,” she replied, “He’s a terror at home too!”
